WASHINGTON — A recent Gallup poll found that more Americans are putting off medical treatments than last year due to rising costs.
Gallup reported these findings, which could suggest how ObamaCare has not fulfilled many of its promises when it was passed by a Democratic majority in Congress in 2009 and signed into law by President Barack Obama in 2010.
The poll, which compared responses from this year and last year, found an increase from 25% to 34% in the course of a year. It makes the reader wonder, wasn’t this the purpose of ObamaCare?
Richer Americans are putting off serious medical treatment at a higher rate, with 28% delayed treatment this year compared to last year’s 17%. For Americans earning less than $30,000 per year, there has been less delay in medical treatments from last year (35% this year and 43% in 2013).
