WASHINGTON — Saudi Arabia is not the only country upset at how they have been treated by the Obama administration, but is the most recent one to voice their anger over Obama’s neglectful behavior.

WHAT IF: Iran develops a nuclear weapon?: Al FaisalReuters reported that Saudi leaders are upset over Obama’s policies on Syria and Iran, which have blown up in his face so-to-speak, and threaten a split with the Americans for the first time in decades.

The Saudi kingdom’s chief intelligence officer said that the Saudis will make a “major shift” because of the ignorance of Barack Obama in foreign policy. Primarily, Obama’s peaceful overtures and outreach to Iran and embarrassing inaction in Syria motivated the chief’s remarks.

Prince Turki al-Faisal said that Obama’s Syrian policies were “lamentable” and even mocked Obama’s ineptness on the world stage by kowtowing to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Faisal has served as the director of Saudi intelligence in years past. He accused Obama of helping “Assad to butcher his people”.

Prince Bandar bin Sultan told European diplomats that the U.S. has failed their Saudi allies. A source told Reuters that “Saudi doesn’t want to find itself any longer in a situation where it is dependent.”

Sultan had served previously as the kingdom’s ambassador to the U.S. for 22 years.
