Obama will nominate New Attorney General after Election Day

WASHINGTON — The new attorney general will not be named before this year’s midterm elections, after Obama’s last one Eric Holder announced his resignation¬†in September.

Possible nominees are his labor secretary Tom Perez, former White House counsel Kathy Ruemmler and U.S. Solicitor General Don Verrilli.
