WASHINGTON — Iran called the West’s bluff and won, as negotiations and talks about how to curtail Iran’s nuclear proliferation efforts have been extended to 2015.

Now, as the Irish Times reported, the Iranian ayatollah criticized the West for interfering in Iran’s domestic affairs and nuclear proliferation program.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei announced, “In the nuclear issue, America and colonial European countries got together and did their best to bring the Islamic Republic to its knees, but they could not do so – and they will not be able to do so.”

The deadline was this past week, but it was extended until July 2015 by negotiators.
