WASHINGTON — The Democrats, still on the sinking ship that is ObamaCare, no longer have the monopoly on positive anecdotes of signing up for the failed health care law.

bill clinton obamacareReuters reported that criticism mounts by the day and more stories come out where normal Americans are losing their health insurance plans because of ObamaCare regulations.

Even Reuters reported about one man losing his insurance, which is now a daily reality under ObamaCare. Wayne Dofflemyer, who lives in Florida, saw his health plan dropped. The 70-year-old nearly lost his longtime doctor who helped save his life when his colon ruptured last year. He had to switch health care providers to keep his doctor.

ObamaCare, or its official name the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, has lent Republicans a way to appeal to emotions through anecdotes and personal stories of Americans losing insurance plans. Fox News estimates that up to 4.2 million Americans have lost their individually-purchased health insurance plans so far, with more to go.

A Duke University scholar estimates that 68% of Americans that have private insurance will lose their plans by next year, when the employer mandate kicks in.
