Euro Zone Morale Climbs as Unemployment Soars

WASHINGTON — Although the European Union’s currency economy, the eurozone, is struggling, it looks as if the region’s optimism is improving according to an August report.

Spain Financial Crisis [1]Reuters reported [2] that optimism increased in the eurozone when unemployment is at an unprecedented historical high at least in the weaker economies in the economic currency bloc.

Survey results showed that positive sentiment was high in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France and Spain, which except for Germany, are in recession-type situations. Spain has not seen anything but a recession [3] for at least two years.

This comes as China is slowing down economically [4] and is increasing worries of whether struggling economies is the new norm.
