WASHINGTON — New Jersey Democratic Senator Bob Menendez, who used the services of underage Dominican prostitutes (currently under a grand jury and FBI investigation), called out the Obama administration over their bad policy with Iran.
Reuters reported that Menendez said the Obama administration was “fear-mongering” about Iran and should not have bowed down to Iranian demands.
Menendez is the chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee and said he does not support easing sanctions with Iran, which was a key part of the Iran negotiations. He did not believe that Iran will honor their part of the agreement, which was to shut down their nuclear enrichment program after six months and allow United Nations inspectors to monitor their known facilities.
On the National Public Radio program, “All Things Considered”, Menendez said, “What I don’t appreciate is when I hear remarks out of the White House spokesman that … if we’re pursuing sanctions we’re marching the country off to war. I think that’s way over the top, I think that’s fear-mongering”.
