WASHINGTON — The once-proud Chinese economy is seeing setback after setback, which the communist government said was because of impending difficult economic reforms.

china economyReuters reported that both investment and factory output slowed in terms of growth, which is troublesome for the world’s second-largest economy.

Some of the reforms are allowing the private sector to have more sway in development and allocating the country’s resources, along with focusing on domestic and internal investment over foreign investment.
