WASHINGTON — AT&T is upping its game, allowing its customers to make yearly device upgrades and pay through monthly installment plans to compete with T-Mobile.
Reuters reports that AT&T, which is the second-biggest American mobile provider, is under pressure to increase its subscriber base as Verizon Wireless is cornering the market. Verizon is the number one provider of mobile services.
It means that AT&T has to be aggressive when dealing with other smaller carriers like T-Mobile and Sprint.
Verizon has already started its plans to do the same in the coming months.
