Does CBS Need Katie?

The New York Post reported that “The CBS Evening News” anchored by 69 year old Bob Schieffer edged out ABC’s “World News Tonight” to finish second in the ratings race for the first time since August 2001.  Does Bob have the big “Mo”?

What Networks?

Bolt Media released the results of an online poll showing that only one in four respondents could identify the four major networks. I wish someone had called me a teenager when I was 34.  

Hoping for a Story

USA Today founder Al Neuharth hopes that the paper is on solid ground with the phone record story.  I wonder how many editors hope their reporters are on solid grounds when reporting a story?
