Playing to the anti-Trump crowd in California, UCLA Extension is offering a one-day course next month to discuss what it claims is President Trump’s mental illness.
The course, Psychopathology Confronts Democracy: The 2016 Presidential Election, will offer “compelling evidence of the presence of mental illness in Trump,” according to the course description:
“The recent presidential election has featured some of the most divisive, confrontational, and demagogic pronouncements ever seen in the United States. Many pundits and lay people have suggested that based on his behavior, Donald Trump is mentally ill. While several psychiatric and psychological associations have cautioned professionals not to speculate on Trump’s mental health issue, no such caution is exercised by clinical psychologist John Snibbe, who offers compelling evidence of the presence of mental illness in Trump. The inability of the public and naive politicians to comprehend how seriously ill Trump is and his threat to democracy are also discussed.”
The class will take place on April 29 from 10 a.m. to noon, and is limited to 112 attendees.
