Accuracy in Media

Chris Matthews who in 2008 said he felt a thrill going up his leg after listening to a speech from then Senator Barack Obama can barely contain himself after new poll numbers showed that President Obama’s job approval rating is up significantly in the last few months.

Matthews told NBC Chief White House Correspondent and political director Chuck Todd that “I love these numbers” as he began the discussion of the poll numbers which caps a good run for Obama after the drubbing the Democrats took in the elections.

After a long discussion of what the numbers mean for Republicans Matthews got back on the Obama bandwagon and expressed his concern that while the president’s poll numbers could remain high or go higher that he could still lose in 2012 if states like Ohio and Wisconsin don’t turn around economically.

Once again Matthews has proved that he is incapable of objective analysis especially when it comes to Obama.
