Accuracy in Media

The left wing media watchdog Fairness and Accuracy in Media issued a study claiming that the PBS Newshour program had twice as many Republican guests as Democrats among other things.

I am not going to go into all the details of this study but a PBS spokesman said that he believed one of the examples cited, former White House spokesman Scott McClellan appeared on tape about 25 times.  I didn’t realize a video clip counts as an appearance.

Now this strange methodology shouldn’t surprise anyone who is familiar with FAIR.  In 1989 they released a study they did of the ABC Nightline program and they claimed that it was skewed to conservatives because of the high number of appearances of Henry Kissinger and Alexander Haig.  They are at the top of my list as conservative heroes (not).

It appears not all is FAIR after all.
