Chris Matthews went Hollywood on Tuesday when he interviewed Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, the stars of the upcoming film The Campaign, in which Matthews makes a brief cameo.
During the interview Matthews brought up a discussion he had with his own sons about whether or not films like this will help bring young people to the polls in November. Matthews was apparently surprised to learn that one of his son’s political views are to the left of Obama.
I’m not sure what Matthews meant when he said he will need to “work on” those views a little bit, since Matthews himself has some pretty left-wing ideas. Does it mean that he wants his son to just be left, rather than far-left?
