Accuracy in Media

For those who have longed to have dinner with domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn, your opportunity has arrived.

Tucker Carlson, the editor-in-chief of The Daily Caller, was the winning bidder at an online charity auction benefiting the Illinois Humanities Council, which set him back $2,500 plus the cost of travel.

The Daily Caller has decided to offer one lucky reader the chance to accompany Carlson and his other guests to Chicago for the dinner, which is scheduled for February 5, via an online contest.

From the DC.

This week, The Daily Caller began an online contest to select a reader to attend the dinner. Readers will be asked to submit questions to Ayers, and Daily Caller readers will choose the best entry. The winner will receive a place at the table, plus airfare and accommodations in Chicago. Readers can enter the contest here.

With the Super Bowl also being played that evening, it might be interesting to know if Ayers is a football fan. That could give Carlson and his guests an opportunity to try and find some common ground, because they aren’t likely to find much, if any, politically.

I don’t know what’s on the menu, but maybe Carlson should reserve one of his slots for a food taster.
