The New York Times has reprimanded an unidentified reporter for calling First Lady Melania Trump a “hooker” at a New York Fashion week event on Sunday evening:
“‘At a party last night, a Times reporter who does not cover Washington or politics, referred to an unfounded rumor regarding Melania Trump,’ a Times spokesperson told Politico in a statement.
The comment was not intended to be public, but it was nonetheless completely inappropriate and should not have occurred. Editors have talked to the reporter in question about the lapse.”
The comment first came to light thanks to supermodel and actress Emily Ratajkowski, who tweeted about it on Monday.
Sat next to a journalist from the NYT last night who told me "Melania is a hooker." Whatever your politics it's crucial to call this out for

Ratajkowski, who is a Bernie Sanders supporter, also slammed the reporter for “slut shaming” the First Lady.
Melania Trump tweeted out her appreciation for the defense last night.
Applause to all women around the world who speak up, stand up and support other women! @emrata #PowerOfEveryWoman #PowerOfTheFirstLady

The remarks by the unidentified Times reporter only underscore the sentiments of the liberal media about President Trump and his family, and it once again exposes the bias that the liberal media have against the Trump administration.
