“Morning Joe” host Mika Brzezinski on Thursday asked Democrats not to threaten physical violence against President Donald Trump, saying, “don’t play into the president’s game.”

“Joe Biden had some really strong words about beating up the president when he was in high school,” Brzezinski said. “I would urge all Democrats to sit back and let the story play out. Don’t say things like that, it’s not going to help you at this point.”

“At this point, the story speaks for itself,” she said.

“A guy who ended up becoming our national leader said, ‘I can grab a woman anywhere, and she likes it,’ ” Biden said during a speech at the University of Miami on Tuesday. “They asked me if I’d like to debate this gentleman, and I said ‘no.’ I said, ‘If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.’”

“I’ve been in a lot of locker rooms my whole life,” Biden continued. “I’m a pretty damn good athlete. Any guy that talked that way was usually the fattest, ugliest S.O.B. in the room.”

Trump fired back tweeting on Thursday that Biden is “weak both mentally and physically” and would “go down fast and hard.”

“Don’t play into the president’s game here,” Brzezinski said. “Let’s just watch this story play out.”
