Former MSNBC host Chris Matthews was ripped by liberals on social media after he praised President Donald Trump’s “true presidential behavior” following the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Friday.
“Trump is right to show respect for RBG. True presidential behavior. Far too rare,” Matthews tweeted.

That was enough for liberals to attack Matthews, who has been an ardent critic of Trump, for complimenting the president – including Matthews’s former colleague Keith Olbermann.

Former CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien said she just wants Matthews to “go away.”

Matthews also offered advice to Trump on who he should select for the high court.
