On Tuesday, the Pew Research Center released the results of its year-long study on political polarization in America, and media habits. Even though MSNBC may be the most liberal cable news network, it isn’t the one that liberals prefer.
Pew found that for those who consider themselves “mostly liberal,” CNN was the main source of government and political news for 20% of the respondents, compared with just 5% for MSNBC.
Even worse for the “Lean Forward” network was that it was tied with Fox News, which can’t make MSNBC president Phil Griffin very happy. But it might help explain the network’s ratings slide.
If liberals won’t watch MSNBC, who will?
