Left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore will be getting his own non-fiction television series this fall on TNT, which is owned by Turner Broadcasting, a division of cable giant Time Warner.
The show, Michael Moore Live From The Apocalypse, will combine Moore’s comedic satire with his documentary style filmmaking, and focus on DC politics, Wall Street and the 1% that Moore rails about despite his own wealth.
“Live From The Apocalypse will be a raucous gathering place for millions of our fellow citizens in desperate need of a break from the screaming pundits and the purveyors of ‘alternative facts,’” Moore said in a release announcing the series. “Our show will be dangerous and relentless. And it will be the destination for those who want to know what’s really going on and what they might be able to do about it.”
In other words, the program will be one of the biggest purveyors of fake news.
