According to Politico’s On Media blog, conservative radio talk-show host, Fox News contributor and author Laura Ingraham is planning on launching a new conservative news and opinion website.
The site’s editor will reportedly be Neil Munro, who resigned from The Daily Caller this week .
Sources told Politico that the site will likely reflect her conservative ideology and champion her pet causes, like immigration reform and her support of anti-amnesty candidates.
There is no announced launch date for the site just yet, but with the 2016 campaign beginning to take shape, you can bet that Ingraham won’t wait too long to get started.
Ingraham is a little late to the conservative news-site field, but as Breitbart News and The Washington Free Beacon have shown in recent years, there seems to be an insatiable appetite on the right for these types of sites. Plus, with her name recognition she shouldn’t have any problem attracting the necessary financial backing and advertising support.
UPDATE: The site will be called LifeZette.com and Ingraham will serve as editor-in-chief and Munro will be the political editor.
