MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough used the physical assault of a reporter by Montana GOP congressional candidate Greg Gianforte to rip President Trump for his “thuggish behavior.”
Gianforte, who allegedly body slammed a reporter from The Guardian in his office, has been charged with misdemeanor assault for his actions. He is running to fill the seat vacated by Ryan Zinke when he became the Interior Secretary.
Scarborough, who is no fan of the President, tried to blame Gianforte’s actions on Trump. He said that Trump had called the media the “enemies of the people,” repeatedly verbally abused reporters, and was reckless and irresponsible calling out people’s names in large arenas and tweeting attacks about those reporters. He said that in general, Trump had exhibited “thuggish behavior.”
Former George W. Bush communications director Nicolle Wallace added to the anti-Trump pile-on by saying that “anyone who thinks it’s unfair or too early to draw a direct line between Donald Trump calling journalists the enemies of the state and people beating up a working journalist is ridiculous.”
What’s ridiculous is the repeated attempts by the liberal media to bring down President Trump with their spurious accusations.
