Accuracy in Media

Former Vermont Governor and Democratic Presidential nominee Howard Dean is in talks for a television talk show according to Reuters.  Dean who has been strangely silent since ending his quest for the presidency seems ready to talk now, just not about politics.

The program which would be produced by Larry Lyttle who brought us “Judge Judy”, “The Parkers” and “The Jamie Kennedy Experiment” will explore topics such as losing a sibling or not having health care.  With the possible teaming of Lyttle with former Jimmy Carter aide Gerald Rafshoon it will be hard to imagine the program won’t tilt to the left on the issues.

It is hard to predict whether or not Dean will succeed or whether or not the program will actually become reality, but MSNBC though they landed a sure winner with Jesse Ventura only to drop the program after two months due to poor ratings.
