Accuracy in Media

It used to be that when you stayed in a hotel the only cable news channel you would get was CNN. Now, thanks to the fact that Fox News shows regularly beat CNN’s in the ratings viewers have a choice. This was never more evident to me on my recent stay in Las Vegas. I didn’t catch on at first, but after a couple of days I noticed that no matter what I did, every time I turned on the television in my hotel room up came Fox. I don’t know who is responsible for this, the owner, a rogue conservative engineer, but I decided to just it be rather than ask anyone in the hotel why this was happening. After all if it took me a couple of days to realize this I would bet that a majority of the guests will never notice the change. Now if I could only get my television at home to do the same after my kids have used it.
