Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is thrusting herself back into the spotlight with a podcast that will launch in late spring.
The yet-to-be-titled program will be co-produced by iHeart Media, a major distributor of conservative talk shows including Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin, who have heavily criticized Clinton over the years.
According to Politico, Clinton’s show will feature her in conversation with a wide range of guests from world leaders, politicians, celebrities and even chefs and that her team is considering using a Howard Stern-like ensemble to keep the show conversational, which both Stern and the late Don Imus managed to do. The show is looking for a Robin Quivers-like sidekick for Clinton.
Clinton has recorded a few podcasts since her defeat in 2016, but it remains to be seen whether or not she can carry a show long-term and draw a large enough audience to make the podcast viable.
