Chris Matthews is so concerned that Barack Obama may not win reelection next year that he is devoting his show tonight to what is being called “The Great Democratic Debate.”
Matthews will be moderating a panel featuring left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore, Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), author and historian Douglas Brinkley and former Democratic Gov. Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania, who is currently an MSNBC political analyst.
This may seem like an odd lineup, but last Wednesday in his “Let Me Finish” segment Matthews said that tonight’s program will discuss the direction the Obama campaign should take — hard left or down the middle.
We may not get the answer tonight, but nonetheless it should be fun watching liberals complain about the Obama administration while giving advice on how to get their man reelected.
The program airs live at 7 p.m.
