ESPN, which struggled last year after several of its on-air personalities aired their political views on the sports channel, is facing another controversy after fill-in host Katie Nolan called President Trump a “f*cking idiot” and “f*cking stupid person” on last Wednesday’s broadcast of Viceland’s Desus and Mero Show.
The network issued a statement Saturday that it “looked into the totality of Nolan’s comments,” adding that “they were inappropriate and we have addressed it with her.”
Nolan joined ESPN in October after a three-year stint at Fox Sports.
ESPN has no plans to suspend Nolan for her expletive-laden remarks about Trump.
