Viewers voted with their remotes on Tuesday night, as they overwhelmingly chose Fox News as the cable news network they preferred when it came to election night coverage.
All of the Fox News primetime programs dominated the competition as they analyzed the election results from the major races in New York, New Jersey and Virginia.
While Bill O’Reilly attracted the most viewers with 3.408 million, it was Megyn Kelly who racked up the most impressive number of the night with an average of 654,000 viewers in the key demo. That was a new high for her month-old show and matched the number of viewers in the demo for MSNBC, CNN and HLN combined.
Overall, Fox averaged 2.729 million viewers, compared to 1.969 million for the other three cable news networks combined, and 593,000 in the demo to 569,000 from the also-ran three combined.
