CNN finished the year on a high note with its New Year’s Eve coverage with a report from a Denver marijuana dispensary by reporter Randi Kaye, who appeared to be having such a good time that she couldn’t remember where she was.
“I think I got a little high. I’m trying to remember where we are. Where am I?” Kaye asked at one point in her report.
Kaye also tried to get CNN’s NewYear’ss Eve hosts Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen–who were in Times Square–involved, telling Cohen, “This is for you, Andy!” while holding a lit marijuana cigarette out to the camera.
Now we have @randikayeCNN showing off the gas mask bong and dudes ripping it on the Cannibus. I love #CNNNYE, the New Year's special that speaks to America's heart. #NewYearsEve2018 #HappyNewYear pic.twitter.com/g732x6UaH8

Cohen replaced comedian Kathy Griffin who had co-hosted the New Years Eve show with Cooper since 2007 after a picture of her holding a severed head of President Trump went viral last year.
