CNN anchor Erin Burnett called out Hillary Clinton for not commenting on the sexual harassment charges against Hollywood movie mogul and Clinton pal Harvey Weinstein and then breaking her silence only after public pressure forced her to do so.
Burnett tweeted that when asked about sexism and misogyny at an event Monday night, she gave Weinstein a pass.
HRC spoke for 90 mins last nite, didn't mention Harvey Weinstein.She won't give women a "pass" for not voting for her, but she gave him one.

After former president Barack Obama spoke out against Weinstein, Clinton finally issued the following statement;
“I was shocked and appalled by the revelations about Harvey Weinstein. The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated. Their courage and the support of others is critical in helping to stop this kind of behavior.”
Burnett said it was good that Clinton broke her silence, but that it was too bad that she was one of the last to do so, noting that Clinton wrote this about her loss to Donald Trump:
“That doesn’t mean I’ll ever run for office again. It does mean that I will speak out on the causes that I care about.”
One of those causes Burnett noted was women’s issues.
