Accuracy in Media

CNN may not be seen by everyone as the most liberal media outlet — that honor goes to MSNBC, but according to a recent Morning Consult survey of more than 300,000 Americans over the past three months, the original cable news network came out on top as the most polarizing media brand among Republicans and Democrats.

Fox News — the one other networks love to hate — was just behind CNN as the most polarizing media brand.

Other media outlets in the survey included NBC News, The New York Times, MSNBC, ABC News, CBS News, the Washington Post, HuffPost and Time, all of which are rated more favorably by Democrats than Republicans.

CNN’s “win” may be attributable to the ongoing battle between the network’s White House correspondent Jim Acosta and the White House which has led the President to label CNN as the “fake news” network.
