A new ABC News/Washington Post poll shows that voters would choose Mitt Romney over President Obama by a margin of 49-45 percent, if they could have a mulligan on the 2012 election.

Obama Romney Debate

In addition to voters buyers’ remorse about the election, Obama also hit a new all-time low in the poll with a 42 percent job approval rating, and 55 percent disapproval.

The news for Obamacare was equally as bleak, with a record high 57 percent now opposing the law and just 40 percent supporting it.

ABC’s George Stephanopoulos may have summed it up best when he said that these were “brutal numbers for the White House.”

While the numbers are bad for the White House, the ongoing problems with the Obamacare rollout will likely send them even lower, and completely cripple the remainder of Obama’s second term.
