Former presidential candidate and secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, said in an interview Tuesday that she could certainly beat President Donald Trump again if she decided to run for president in 2020.

Clinton appeared on PBS News Hour and was asked about Trump’s attitude towards her.

“It’s truly remarkable how obsessed he remains with me,” she stated. “But this latest tweet is so typical of him. Nothing has been more examined and looked at than my emails. We all know that. So he’s either lying or delusional or both.”

She continued, “So maybe there does need to be a rematch. Obviously I can beat him again. But, just seriously, I understand, I don’t think anybody understands what motivates him, other than personal grievance, other than seeking adulation.”

While it’s clear that Clinton was referring to her win with the popular vote in the 2016 election Huffington Post reporter Jeanna Amatulli did not clarify in her story.

On Tuesday Trump took to Twitter to communicate with Clinton.

Voters like Cassandra Fairbanks and numerous others have strong opinions on Clinton. However, HuffPost did not highlight any voter opinions.

Despite Clinton having little success after the 2016 election, HuffPost stated, she vowed that she wasn’t “going anywhere” and “vowed to help the Democrats win back the White House in 2020.”
