On Monday, February 11, an unidentified man wearing a tan coat and a Make America Great Again cap violently shoved journalists and camera operators on the risers designated for press.
The unidentified man shoved BBC’s Ron Skeans and screamed, “F**k the media,” before being restrained by a blogger also wearing a Make America Great Again cap. The unidentified man was removed by security within seconds.
Moments later Skeans ended up gesturing a thumbs up when President Trump asked, “You alright? Everything okay, please? Okay, thank you.”
A Trump staffer suggested the man was drunk.
Today, BBC producer Eleanor Montague confirmed via Twitter that Skeans was okay.
To all those who asked after the cameraman – Ron is fine . Thanks for asking # pic.twitter.com/JB7Tq21DX6

In response, BBC contacted White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders asking for a “review of security arrangements” for rallies were the media will be in attendance.
“It’s clearly unacceptable for any of our staff to be attacked for doing their job,” said a BBC spokeswoman.
Part of the altercation was captured by Accuracy in Media and can be viewed here.
