Minnesota’s 5th Congressional Rep. Ilhan Omar (D) has been in hot water over the past few months for anti-Semitic statements.

Omar was recently in the spotlight for speaking out about 9/11. She sugar-coated the terrorist attack on New York by claiming “some people did something,” and has now come forward on the National Day of Prayer stating, “a lot of the policies that we have put in place has kind of helped lead the devastation in Venezuela.”

On Democracy Now, Omar continued and said, “This particular bullying and the use of sanctions to eventually intervene and make regime change really does not help the people of countries like Venezuela and it certainly does not help and is not in the interest of the United States.”

Fox reported Omar has sparked backlash again; groups are banding together and saying she should resign.

After taking a look through all the laws passed in history, there has not been one policy or law enacted and signed by the President of the United States of America that has assisted in another country’s socialistic uprising.

Maduro who has not yet come to terms with handing over power to interim President Juan Guaido has continued to use the military to slaughter anti-Maduro protestors. As if using military force isn’t enough, he has continuously starved his country’s people, allowed them to go without proper medical care, water, and electricity. The country has had numerous blackouts, which has left hospitals running on generators, and limited bank account access from average folks.

This simply is not about what America has done to provoke Venezuela’s unlawful uprising as Omar has tried to frame. To this anti-Semitic Democrat, it’s all about making another headline and attempting to embarrass our country politically.

As the president and vice president have both tweeted, America continues to monitor and “stand with the freedom-loving people of Venezuela” until the crisis is finally resolved.
