Soledad O’Brien, a former CNN anchor, responded to the network on its coverage of diversity in the Trump administration.
A piece tweeted by CNN Politics, grilled the administration on its lack of diversity after the firing of Omarosa Manigault-Newman.
In a single tweet, O’Brien turned the question of diversity back on them.
“Very terrible! But, uh, walk me through the senior black staff at @CNNPolitics or @cnn or, hey, I’ll take cable news,” she said.

CNN did not respond to her tweet.
Earlier this year, Fox News’ Harris Faulkner appeared on CNN’s The View and was asked a similar question.
Host Sonny Hostin asked if Faulkner took any flack for being the “only woman of color with her own daily show on Fox.
“I know you say the only one on Fox. Where is MSNBC’s? Where is CNN’s? I think HLN, and that’s new.”
