Bravo to the Boston Celtics’ Enes Kanter for sticking it to Chinese Communist Party strongman Chairman Xi Jinping by calling out the most dangerous dictator of the 21st Century for the subjugation of China’s minority Uyghur and Tibetan populations, and for his annexation of Hong Kong.

Kanter, a 29-year-old Turkish-born NBA center, has been an outspoken critic of regimes that he feels abuses Muslim minorities in his career  Recently, he referred to Xi as a “brutal dictator” on Twitter, which has resulted in a ban of Celtics games being televised in China.

It’s not the first time NBA broadcasts have been banned in China.

In 2019, China and the NBA cemented a one-year, $1.5 billion pact to televise the league behind the Bamboo Curtain when Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey tweeted in support of protestors in Hong Kong who opposed Xi’s annexation of the island to Mainland China.

China subsequently banned broadcast of the NBA for over a year, despite profuse apologies, both abased and degrading, from the NBA to China.

“NBA in groveling apology,” headlined the U.K.’s Independent.

LeBron James, the most recognizable star in the game today,  took to Twitter to let China know that “I believe he [Morey] wasn’t educated on the situation at hand,” adding “So many people could have been harmed, not only financially but physically, emotionally, spiritually,” about Morey’s comments.

Yes, financial harm for the NBA was narrowly averted.

But not so much the physical, emotional and spiritual harm to China’s minorities.

They still suffer forced, systematic rape; the harvesting of their organs for transplant to generate cash that goes to Communist party big wigs to the tune of one billion dollars annually; and forced “reeducation” which includes slave labor for U.S companies like Nike, just to name a few of the biggest abuses.

Suffice to say that It’s no exaggeration that China is the biggest human trafficker that ever existed in the history of mankind… if you care about that kind of thing.

So another bravo to goes to Kanter as he wasn’t done with dictators after calling out China’s Xi.

Because he also too to task the tyrant of the NBA, King James himself, for “pretending to care” about human rights at home while simply “dribbling” when China’s dictator Xi tells him to.

James has been a longtime front man for BLM racial grievances in America.

But Kanter called James’ bluff on human rights.

“They really do shut up and dribble when the Big Boss (China) says so,” said Kanter said about James in a Tweet displaying the basketball shoes Kanter created to educate Lebron about the biggest human rights abuses in the world– the abuses in China, not in the USA.

“Did you educate yourself about the slave labor that made your shoes or is that not part of your research?’ Kanter said mockingly to Lebron, referring to the Chinese practice of using slave laborers for the clothing factory that represent companies like basketball shoe giant Nike.

LeBron has subsequently accused Kanter of trying to use up King James’ precious energy on issues that aren’t important to the King.

“I think if you know me, you know I don’t give too many people my energy,” James said according to USAToday. “He’s [Kanter] definitely not someone I would give my energy to. He’s trying to use my name to create an opportunity for himself. I definitely won’t comment too much on that.”

One, however, has the feeling that both dictators, Xi and James, have a little less energy today because of Kanter’s bravery.

So, bravo!
