BuzzFeed-owned HuffPost absolves Biden administration of policy impacts

HuffPost, which is now owned by BuzzFeed, lies about the consequences of President Joe Biden’s policies in a recent article.
From trans women in women’s sports to the influence of the radical 1619 Project, the Biden administration is to blame for several anti-conservative policies.
But HuffPost claims it’s not. It resists the argument that Biden’s LGBT executive order – signed on his first day in office — “unilaterally eviscerates women’s sports.” The order says that “[c]hildren should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports.”
“Supporters of this type of legislation,” the article says, “argue that transgender women have an unfair biological advantage and will make it impossible for other women to compete even though these claims aren’t rooted in any scientific evidence.”
That’s false.
So, too, is the characterization of the Civics Secures Democracy Act as “seemingly innocuous.” The article notes that conservatives call it a “Trojan horse.” More precisely, it’s a “Trojan Horse for Woke Education.”
It promotes the much-maligned critical race theory and moves students toward the political Left.
The author mentions another rule from the Education Department that has “proposed priorities” for federal American history and civics education grants. She disingenuously calls the rule “completely unrelated” to the Civics Secures Democracy Act.
The rule cites the 1619 Project, The New York Times’ radical longform project whose detractors “object to teaching the uglier parts of American history,” the article says.
The 1619 Project contends that the United States was founded not in 1776, but when the first slave landed in America in 1619. It argues that one of the main reasons behind the American Revolution was the preservation of slavery.
The Education Department’s rule also cites Ibram X. Kendi, a critical race theory proponent and the author of “How to Be an Antiracist.”
The article goes on to lie about Mr. Potato Head being canceled. He was canceled insofar as he was stripped of his manhood and renamed to the gender-neutral “Potato Head.” Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head’s gender is now less important, too. “Mr.” and “Mrs.” are now less visibly displayed at the bottom of the box, not the top.
The article concludes by refusing to lay the chicken wing shortage at the feet of Biden.
However, only 100 days into his presidency, he’d spent $6 trillion. That spending has combined with his energy policies to inflate the price of the whole chicken, not only the wings.
