CNN and other mainstream media outlets were silent after the state of New York deleted its controversial nursing homes order to admit coronavirus-positive patients.

According to Fox News, the state of New York’s health website no longer features a live link or URL to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s March 25 order. The order was deleted and could only be accessed through an archived page.

Now, only the governor’s May 10 order is accessible online, which said that nursing homes do not have to admit coronavirus-positive patients.

Cuomo’s office said that an updated May 10 order was not a reversal of policy from the March 25 order, but the March 25 order was removed from a state website.

CNN has not published an article or analysis on the controversy.

CNN employs Cuomo’s younger brother, Chris, as a host. But CNN did not push Chris to ask his brother Andrew about the website page removal. Nor has the cable news network asked Chris to ask questions about his brother’s nursing home policy changes.

None of the other mainstream media outlets, such as CBS News and ABC News, covered the story.
