On Wednesday, presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), was met by a large group of Trump supporters at the Reno-Tahoe Airport. CNN did not report on the incident. Instead, their latest on Elizabeth Warren and Nevada was from five days ago; highlighting how Democratic voters are “knotted up” in the state.
This is Warren’s third visit to northern Nevada – a state that is key to victory in the 2020 presidential race.
The pro-Trump supporters shouted, “Don’t impeach!” and “Go home!” After passing the protesters Warren’s staff quickly directed her into a waiting van.

In a separate tweet, Nevada Republican state chairman Micahel J. McDonald said, “Welcome to Reno @warren! This is @teamtrump country!”

Warren made her way to Carson City where she was met by supporters of her own. However, at one point in her speech a Trump supporter held up a “Keep America Great” sign, and shouted, “Lock her up!” News 4-Fox in Nevada stated that outside of Warren’s town hall was a “very long line of supporters, those on the fence and even more protesters.”
The Washington Examiner noted how Warren may be surging in early primary polls, but Warren “received a mixed reception during her one-day swing through Nevada.”
