Where: Comments made to a San Francisco Examiner reporter, summarizing the "Venceremos" agenda. Venceremos (Spanish for 'We will win,' Fidel Castro's slogan), was established by Franklin during or shortly after 1971. An outgrowth of this organization was the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA), which kidnapped Patricia Hearst in 1974.
