Dear Mr. Dean:
The official Democratic House candidate in Florida’s 15th congressional district has appeared at 9/11 “truth” rallies where it has been proclaimed that 9/11 was an “inside job” carried out by U.S. officials. Your candidate, Bob Bowman, is a member of this movement, which absolves al Qaeda of responsibility for the attacks that killed almost 3,000 Americans. We urge you to publicly disavow his views and strip him of his designation as the official candidate of the Democratic Party. He is an embarrassment to the party and a disgrace to America.
