Dear Mr. Rivera:
Your stories from the scene of the Hurricane aftermath did not serve the public interest but your own interest. Clearly, you staged photo opportunities for yourself, so you could appear on camera as a great life-saver and humanitarian. Congratulations: you helped save a dog! But Ed Bark of the Dallas Morning News said you disgraced yourself and your network with that sobbing performance at the New Orleans Convention Center. And columnist Brooks Mick said, “He’s wound up beyond all winding up. Get that man a few hours sleep, please!” We used to watch a lot of Fox News but when you come on we don’t know whether to laugh or cry. Our only option at this point is to change the channel. Perhaps it’s time for you to move to Comedy Central.
