It is reported that Al-Jazeera, an Arabic-language network known as the “terrorist channel,” is launching an English-language channel early next year and is now negotiating for carriage on cable and satellite systems controlled by Western media organizations. An Al-Jazeera spokesman, Mike Holtzman, says the network is confident it will sign such contracts in time to be on the air in the U.S. next spring. As the chairman of the federal agency that determines U.S. media policy, we ask that you do everything in your power to stop this pro-terrorist operation from getting access to the U.S. media market. This is a network that incites the killing of Americans.
