Dear Mr. Kirk:

Your program, "From China With Love," was an excellent treatment of a topic that gets far too little attention. We were happy to see that you didn't buy into the phony claims being made by Wen Ho Lee and others that they were unfairly targeted because of their ethnicity. As Glenn Garvin of The Miami Herald pointed out, "...the fact remains that Beijing's spies in this country are not likely to be Peruvians or Nigerians; nor will there be many Jewish grandmothers among al Qaeda's next hijackers." Another issue, he notes, is why the FBI has been plagued by so many moles over the years. We also urge you to investigate whether Chinese Communist disinformation has influenced current U.S. policy toward China.
