We understand the point you were making when you joked about shooting Britney Spears. It is very difficult to raise children in a society dominated by sexually explicit images. We think a worthwhile mission would be for you to highlight the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) among young people. The facts show that one in four sexually active teens becomes infected with STDs, some of which are deadly. We suggest you contact speakers like Mary Beth Bonacci of Real Love Productions (www.reallove.net). She takes the abstinence message to thousands of teens every year and recently spoke to a group in Maryland. We also suggest Dr. Meg Meeker’s book, Epidemic: How Teen Sex Is Killing Our Kids. You can make a real difference in this debate and save the lives of our precious young people.
