Dear Mr. Stephanopoulos:

You are no doubt elated about the prospect of becoming the solo anchor on “This Week,” but you are carrying a lot of baggage that you should unload before you assume such a prestigious and potent position. You owe an apology to Gary Aldrich for trying to keep him off “This Week” and other talk shows because his book told the truth about what the White House was like under Bill Clinton. When your effort to bar him from the show failed, you went on it to deny his charges that security was lax and drug use prevalent among the White House staff. You know that he was right. You were not being honest. You should tell us what you learned in the secret situation room at the White House on July 17, 1996 about the real cause of the TWA 800 crash. You surely know the lies told to cover up the Hubbell hush money and how Vince Foster died. It will be hard to think of you as journalist we can trust unless you come clean on these cover-ups.
