Dear Mr. Ailes:
On Sept. 11, George Stephanopoulos displayed some of the know-ledge he picked up as a Clinton adviser in commenting on ABC News about President Bush using the situation room at Offutt Air Force Base. Telling Peter Jennings that there is a situation room in the White House that is equipped for teleconferencing, he said, "In my time at the White House it was used in the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing, in the aftermath of the TWA Flight 800 bombing." This suggests that he knows that a fuel-tank explosion did not cause the TWA 800 crash. He should be asked to explain both "bombing" and his claim that a meeting about this crash was held in the situation room.
Please have a Fox reporter find out when and why the meeting was held. The answers may reveal the real cause of the TWA 800 crash.
