To the Editor (of your choice):
Former director of intelligence at the Department of Energy, Notra Trulock, is a classic whistleblower. His revelations about security lapses in the nuclear labs were not welcomed by the Washington establishment or the media. He was forced out of the department and his home was raided by FBI agents who confiscated his computer, without even having a search warrant. He has suffered tremendously on both a personal and professional basis. Tragically, he says based on what he's been through, he wouldn't do it again.
Trulock says that President Clinton's secret PD 61 on security at the nuclear labs hasn't solved the problem of Chinese espionage. The media and public have been denied a copy of this classified order. Will your paper demand a copy of this secret directive and investigate Trulock's charges?
