I don’t want to press “1” for English. I don’t want to pay to provide ballots in foreign languages. I don’t want to pay to provide services in whatever language a person desires, whether those are government services, health services, or when a criminal is arrested! We need to get back to basics, and make English the Official Language of the Unted States of America, enforce our immigration laws, and everyone who wants to be a citizen should learn our language.
I’m not a Michael Weiner Savage “true believer” - - but I do believe some of the most fundamental components of a successful country include “borders, language, and culture” - - as Savage has been declaring for many years.
The parallels between “the decline and fall of the Roman empire” and what I clearly see today as a similar decline of the America I’ve known for 65 years are pretty striking to me.
Denmark had immigration problems after a large number of immigrants came in and tried to do things “their way.” Denmark NOW has a great plan.
They get no governement dole. They have to work. They have learn not only their language, but their history, also. It can take YEARS for them to be eligible for citizenship. Quite a
masterplan for any nation to follow.

There are many ideas presented in this pod cast that get my attention including that of American soverignity. Obama is one of these who doesn’t think that American soverignity should stand as shown by his global poverty legislation. He wants to turn over the US to the UN!!
I am ordering this book to see what ideas need to be followed and from what I have heard - this man is right on!!
Immigration is a threat to all Americans - hospitals are one example in my area. 4 hospitals have had to close due to immmigrants refusing to pay for services and deamanding rights that they should not have as they are NOT citizens.
Our courts have also stood on the side of NON CITIZENS giving them the rights that are afforded by the constitution and yet at the same time denying them to citizens.
Americans had better wake up!!
Helen, I agree. But there may be something coming up that will cause the illegals to flee back to their own countries.
I refer to Obama’s S-2433, “Global Poverty Act”
which he somehow found time to sponsor during his
less than 150 days as a first term Senator, before
campaigning.
As I have read, this S-2433 will require over $800
billion dollars and 7% of our GNP, which the trust
worthy UN will handle. But that’s only the money
part of it.. there are things already in the UN
some of which the US never ratified, but by signing onto it, we will become compliant to the
UN on those things, too.
Since I read articles on it from I feel are trusted sites, you would think Obama would at least mention it..maybe brag about it IF he thought it was a good thing. H. Clinton never confronted him on it, nor has McCain to date, and
the press has been silent on it. Very James Bondish. It is scary.
But, if we are reduced to a 3rd world nation, maybe the immigrants will find they had it better
at their on homeland.
I’m 74. I KNOW a better America, and this is going to dogs (or the lap dogs of others agendas)

Carolyn Richardson - you read the legislation correctly!! ANd did you notice that he wants to make the U.N. - that bastion of ethics - as the ones to administer the program?
Further he wants to allow them to tell us what to do with the seabed!! Like NO drilling even though China is doing so now?
He will turn over the soverignity of the United STates to the United Nations!
What scares me is that he is soooo naive and inexperienced and AMericans don’t seem to realize it! HE is uninformed, changes his stances to pander to which ever group he speaks with and then claims he doesn’t. His stance on Iraq is one example.
California is already a third world country - and they are going broke supporting all the Illegals in that state. Illegals can get free community college tuition but Americans cannot and I know - I used to teach in one.
I am 64 and see this country losing their values and being a country of welfare seekers! Independence on which we built this country is lost in the laziness of Americans today. They forget and are not taught their history or values. I agree with you CAroline but I am trying my best to stem the tide by talking to others, writing my congress people and voting for the person who will do the best job! MCCain at least won’t give PORK - he is one step above OB on this issue for sure!
And he served in the military! He at least would be a better commander in chief than a man who votes AGAINST the troops!
In the light of “immigration,” I am writing to many offices trying to find the answer to this:
WHY HAS OBAMA REFUSED TO PRODUCE HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE? Would you refuse to show YOURS? The Senate inquired of McCain and he passed, why...with all the questions being asked by the people....why hasn’t the Senate made an invesitagetion of Obama’s? Couldn’t be because he’s their DEMOCRATIC peer, could it?
Bloggers were the first to prove the papers Dan Rather brought forth on Bush were forged. Bloggers are now saying there is good possibility that what Obama’s office DID put out is in question: is it a “certificate of live birth?” If so, is IT genuine? They are doing their own “investigation” of what little they have (apparently whatever Obama’s office put out to one site)....but we only have 3 months to succeed in finding whether he is,in fact, legally qualified for this office, and it seems to boil down to his elusive birth certificate! WHO CAN MAKE HIM PRODUCE IT? He’s not doing it voluntarily.
Considering we are talking about meeting LEGAL QUALIFICATION to be President of the United States, it seems to me SOME FEDERAL AGENCY could
get a copy from the state of Hawaii, who says they don’t release that information. Couldn’t the provide a copy with his name on it, but other
personal identifying names blacked out?

Homeland Security would be the one who MIGHT suggest such a thing, but Obama? For me alone, that is a scary, scary thought. That part of his
speech was deleted from almost all reports on his
speech (July 2, I believe it was).
Did you hear that the NY Times turned down an editorial from McCain LESS THAN A WEEK AFTER RUNNING ONE FROM OBAMA? I believe that shows a
blatantly biased press. (That’s a surprise???)

Is Barack Obama a “natural-born citizen”? It is hard to believe he could get this far in the electoral process and not have a sufficient answer to this question, I admit, but has his birth certificate been disclosed?
A: Yes. His campaign made a copy public after speculation by conservative bloggers that he might not be a “natural-born citizen.”
We asked for and received a copy from the Obama campaign. It is too large to display full size on this page, but you may click on this link to see a copy of the document just as we received it.
It indicates Obama was born at 7:24 p.m. Aug. 4, 1961, in Honolulu. That should be no surprise, as it merely documents what Obama and his biographers have always said. But the document should put to rest groundless speculation raised on some conservative Web sites that Obama might not have been born in the U.S. and therefore might not qualify under the Constitution as a “natural-born citizen” to be president.
The speculation was not based on any evidence. Bloggers raised questions based on the absence of evidence, specifically the lack of a publicly available copy of a birth certificate and the supposed “secrecy” surrounding it. For example, the conservative World Net Daily posted a June 10 article with the headline, “Is Obama’s candidacy constitutional?; Secrecy over birth certificate, demand for ‘natural-born’ citizenship cited.” Soon after, some of our readers began asking us the same thing.
The “secrecy” ended when Tommy Vietor at the Obama campaign sent a message to us and other reporters saying, “I know there have been some rumors spreading about Obama’s citizenship, so I wanted to make sure you all had a copy of his birth certificate.” A digital image was attached.
Hawaii state law forbids the release of birth or marriage certificates to anyone but the persons named in the documents or their immediate relatives. This copy carries a date stamp of “Jun 6 - 2007” (which has bled through from the reverse side), and is, therefore, probably a copy obtained by Obama himself at that time.
Incidentally, John McCain has been the subject of similar speculation based on the fact that he was born in the Panama Canal Zone. But as we explained in an earlier Ask FactCheck, he’s also a U.S. citizen under laws going back to 1790, even though he wasn’t born in the country.

cost us $845 Billion, 7% of GNP.... might cause us to be subservient to the UN ...think: small arms/weaponry (our rights!) a standing UN Army...(think global governance)...education for 1st-12th grades (think Islam being taught openly or covert already in our schools--whose criteria?)

Carolyn - I aree with you but you forgot to put that it is BARACK OBAMA who has sponsored this legislation which takes $845 BILLION out of America and gives it to the U.N. which is as corrupt as our congress - on boths sides!!
BARACK OBAMA has been named as # 2 PIG in the annual PORK AWARDS in STEALING from the American TAxpayer by the group who researches and follows the requests for earmarks. Hillary is the # 1 PIG.
We do NOT need this amount of money flowing out to help others when we cannot help ourselves!!
What we do need is an energy policy that helps sustain the most GENEROUS country in the WORLD to keep its economy regain strength and for our country to be safer and less dependent on foreign oil.
The Democratic congress just last week spen 61 BILLION on such projects as “how to grow orchids”
and other crony rewarding projects! Get angry...Get furious...and demand that congress STOP wasting our tax dollars.
BE furious when OBAMA says he will raise your taxes!! WHY do we need to send 845 BILLION dollars overseas? Write and CALL your congress persons NOW and DEMAND they stop the spending! VOTE them out of office!

ALL great truths? Anytime you use “ALL” it negates the statement. Nothing is “all” but death! But its a nice platitude along with the one about not loving someone enough.
Consider we are human and if you love someone as much as YOU can, that is enough.
My philosophy is that not only are you responsible for your life, but doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment.
For all of you who are fed up with congress, the excessive greed shown by those in power on BOTH sides, here is what you do:
First, you talk to ALL you possibly can and get them to take action and talk to others. Each one talk to one and that one talk to another one and so on. IF we all talk to those on our email lists, we can stop the corruption in congress.
Then you organize - and start building a “war chest” administered by a bank to do recall petitions. It would take many people to do that job but it could be done. Remember the Boston Tea Party?
We continue to build the chest and demand recall votes to be held. We could stop this tomorrow if enough people are fed up!
Folks on our email list are gathering money together to do videos to post on You Tube and comments with FACTS to post on the the blogs and we are starting to put the word out that we will NOT let our country go socialistic which is what Obama wants.
We will NOT let our country go to hell because of the greed of the congress people running our country.
We will NOT let our country go under due to excessive environmental regulations that make no sense. Al Gore and company are making million by CREATING an environmental crisis - global warming does NOT exist in terms of humans putting cardon into the atmosphere. In fact, we have been in a cooling trend since 1991. We must stop the propaganda and lies coming from this group.
We must take back our country, establish it as an AMERICAN country and those that don’t want to live like AMericans can get out!
Howard, the former prime minister of Australia told the muslims there if they didn’t want to live like AUSTRLIANS and wanted Shaaria law to get out!
We must do the same to the worthless pieces of crap we call congress! We must put a stop to PORK sending especially for personal gain. Nancy PIlosi got a HUGE development contract for her husband and of course in the area where he “developed” the ports, they bought condos for rent and are making HUGE profits off that PORK!
Obama is another and so is the majority of congress.
What can you do? Start talking, writing, and agitating. CALLING congress and writing them is one of the most effective means of expressing displeasure! GET your friends together and get angry. Then start getting volunteers to do petitions and get the news media to announce it and that will get the attention of congress.
IF you have elections coming up - throw the incumbents out! That is a first step!!

Why should I have to press one for English? Why should United Statesians have to send our children to schools and be forced to accept another language? Let them learn our language if they want to live here. Send them back to Mexico if they want to run over us in our own country. KEEP THEM OUT OF THE UNITED STATES AND IF THE LIBERALS DON’T LIKE IT, SEND THEM TO MEXICO TOO!!
